Who we are

Maba Community UK (رابطة المبا البرقو بالمملكة المتحدة) is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. To contact us about your data, email info@mabacommunity.com.

What we collect and why

• Family registration: full name, UK city, number of family members, and your phone number and email address if you give them. We use these to keep the community's membership list and to contact you about community activities.
• Resource downloads: your name, your email address, which resource you downloaded and when. This tells us who uses our resources.
• Donations: these are made by direct bank transfer or WhatsApp. The website does not collect any bank or card details.

We rely on your consent when you send a form, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. Membership of the community may show your heritage or background, so only authorised community officers can see these records.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data or share it for marketing. It is stored on our web host's servers under a contract with them. The site loads fonts and code libraries from outside services (Google Fonts, jsDelivr and cdnjs) and video thumbnails from YouTube. These services receive your IP address when you visit a page.

How long we keep it

We keep registration records for as long as you are part of the community, and delete them when you ask. We delete resource-download records after two years.

Cookies

We only use essential cookies: a session cookie that protects our forms and remembers your language, and one that remembers you have seen our cookie notice. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Email info@mabacommunity.com. If you are unhappy with our reply, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
